Houston’s Boys & Girls Clubs announce NEW board chair

HOUSTON (KIAH) – In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston (BGCGH) announced a series of events dedicated to honoring the Hispanic community. The theme is “Pioneers of Change: Shaping the Future Together,” and the goal is to uplift and empower Hispanic youth and families throughout the Houston area.

 

Pedro Caruso was announced as the newest board chair for BGCGH and he happens to be the first Hispanic board chair member for the organization. Caruso is committed to fostering an inclusive environment for ALL members to thrive.

Hispanic Heritage Month runs from September 15 to October 15 and the Club is highlighting its Hispanic members, families and staff who make a difference in the Houston community.
